Who does not love a good pizza? In these times of lockdown, we all have craved for things we love to eat, and pizza is surely one of them. Though deliveries are open, I wouldn’t recommend risking it AT ALL! Instead why not simply learn how to bake a yummy pizza with easily available ingredients. Usually pizza bread is made with yeast as a leavening agent. However, since most of us don’t have yeast available, I am sharing in instant pizza recipe which takes less than 30 minutes from start to end!! How cool is that?? The bonus tip is that this recipe can be used to make yummy stuffed garlic bread too!! To make things even simpler, I have a fabulous pizza sauce recipe shared on my Instagram highlights. You HAVE TO try it out if you haven’t yet! It works great for pastas, pizzas, lasagnes, and open toasts etc. definitely check it out!

 120 g Flour (Maida)
 ¼ tsp Salt
 ¼ tsp Pizza Seasoning
 1 tsp Powdered Sugar
 ¼ tsp Baking Soda
 ½ tsp Baking Powder
 1 ½ tbsp Oil
 ¼ tsp Vinegar
 ¼ cup Milk/ WaterMay need 1-2 tbsp more
 ¼ cup Pizza Sauce
 ½ tsp Mixed Herbs
 ¼ tsp Chilli Flakes
 ¼ cup Mozzarella Cheese
 ¼ cup Vegetables (As per availability)

  1. In a small bowl, combine milk + vinegar and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  2. Add flour, salt, pizza seasoning, powdered sugar, baking powder, baking soda and oil. Mix well.
  3. Now add your milk + vinegar mix or water + vinegar mix.
  4. Make a smooth dough. Use more milk/ water if needed. Knead at least for 3-5 minutes.
  5. Rest aside, covered for 10 minutes if possible.
  6. Roll out to 1/4-inch thickness or thinner if you like.
  7. Spread the pizza sauce on top, followed by cheese and vegetables.
  8. Sprinkle herbs and chilli flakes.
  9. In case you are baking on a tawa, heat the tawa, and place the pizza on hot tawa, lower the heat and cover to cook.
  10. Wait for 7-10 minutes and then cook without a cover/ lid, till the base is nice and crisp.
  11. In case you are baking, pre-heat the oven to 230 degrees Celsius.
  12. Bake on the lowest rack for 10-12 minutes or till the base is crisp.
  13. Serve hot!!
